Narratives and stories form the very foundations of culture. As anthropologist Clifford Geertz suggested, stories that generate awareness, empathy, and coherence serve as powerful points of human connection. They inspire us to transcend our individual experiences, driving action and fostering community. Through storytelling, we can bridge our differences and create a nurturing space where
every individual’s potential can ignite meaningful change.

Through our Circle of Creatives, many of our stories have been produced by a collective group of international artists, writers, photographers, and videographers. Each contributor weaves their unique perspective, creating a deep sense of biodiversity within our shared storytelling ecosystem.

While our journey began with writing as our primary storytelling medium, as we evolve, so does the way in which we tell our stories—through photography, videography, webinars, and now - music. To us, the medium is as vital as the message itself.

Just as the cadence of localized food systems reflect the regenerative movement, we are dedicated to telling local stories for a global audience. By partnering with contributors who authentically represent each story, we ensure that every story we tell reflects the rich tapestry of voices that shape our world.

A Journey of Impact
Since its inception, the Circle of Creatives has grown into a flourishing ecosystem. Over 60 content features have been produced, covering a wide spectrum of stories—farmworker experiences, seasonal living, indigenous perspectives on agriculture, and the intricacies of small-scale food systems. Each story is grounded in human experience, carrying with it the spirit of its creator and the land it speaks of.

This series has not only shed light on the historical and modern framework of farm labor in America but has also been recognized for its impact,
with Leonina receiving the Young, Gifted, and Green 40 Under 40 Award. Through stories like these, we witness how storytelling becomes an act of regeneration, fostering understanding and inspiring change.

In the words of Leonina, a writer from our ‘Who Grows Your Food’ series:

“My heart is so full every time I think of the work I’ve been enabled to do through the Circle of Creatives; not just because professionally we’ve won accolades and I’ve been able to develop my voice as a writer through working with the editorial team, but maybe most importantly whereas I thought going in, I’d uncover a lot about the industry and bring to light my peoples stories, I never imagined that my own story and growth as a human being would be developed through this series, it has been an all around filling and joyful experience to be part of this amazing team”

Expanding Our Horizons

This ever-evolving collective of artists and contributors continues to welcome new voices, inviting those who feel called to capture the stories of the land, the sea, and stewards who nurture them.

Just as regeneration inherently shifts and evolves, we too embrace this journey of transformation—not only in the stories we tell
but how we tell them. We are deepening our commitment to long-term storytelling strategies that respond to the growing appetite for authentic, compelling and impactful media. This evolution encompasses an expansion into musical collaborations, short films, docu-series, podcasts, and spoken-word —amplifying our impact on a global level.

Each new story presents an opportunity to serve as an artistic and educational vehicle for awareness and catalysts for change.

The Power of Media & Storytelling

Media, in all its forms, is one of the most potent forces of our time. It carries the stories that define who we are and who we aspire to be. With the power to spark revolutions, heal divisions, and illuminate truths, media does more than merely reflect reality—it actively shapes it, guiding society and influencing the course of history. As anthropologist Luis Duarte states, “Every tomorrow emerges from culture”.

In this spirit, our Circle of Creatives is dedicated to investing in the creative community, harnessing the transformative potential of impactful media and storytelling. Together we strive to inspire human reconnection and collective action, aiming to reunite and regenerate agricultural and health systems in pursuit of the restoration of both human and planetary health.

Where We've Been

• We have engaged eight diverse and creative contributors from a variety of disciplines.

• Collaboratively we have produced more than twenty stories exploring topics such as seasonal living, farmworker stories, indigenous perspectives on regeneration, small-scale food systems and the experiences of female farmers and black agriculturists.

• We have co-created stories that honor authenticity, depth and diversity to enrich our storytelling ecosystem.

Where We're Going

Amplifying Voices:
Our next chapter will allow us to reach wider, more diverse audiences by delivering stories that address the full spectrum of regenerative agriculture and its global impact.

Strategic Partnerships:
We will fund and produce compelling and mobilizing content with aligned strategic partners and media outlets who have audience sizes that eclipse our own.

Engaging Youth:
Our focus will be on engaging our youth through creative means of storytelling.

Broadened Reach:
By broadening and diversifying our media, we will connect with a wider variety of audiences and increase our overall impact.

Expanding into Music
We are thrilled to announce that our Circle of Creatives is expanding into the universal language of music. Music transcends borders, rises above language, and creates a dialogue that speaks directly to the soul. Through music, we aim to unite diverse cultures, ages, and demographics, inspiring a global movement towards regeneration.
